Winter Events 2020-2021

During the Winter Efteling the Efteling is transformed into a winter wonderland. There are twinkling lights everywhere, warm campfires, the various attractions are decorated and all the occupants of the Efteling are wrapped up warm for the winter. There are also a few new attractions and foods brought out especially for the Winter.
The winter events season will start on 19/11/2020 and end on 31/01/2021* During this season the opening hours are 11:00 - 18:00 on weekdays and 11:00 - 19:00 on weekends During the Xmas period 21/12/2019 - 05/01/2020 the park is open from 11:00 - 20:00 The Flying Dutchman will stay open until 31/01/2021 after which it will shut for maintenance * Due to COVID closure it has ended early on 15/12/2020 |

On the Warm Winter Meadow they will be serving lovely warm cinnamon rolls for € 2,85. You can also get it at De Gebrande Boon, Kogeloog and De Rustende Reiziger Traditional Dutch marzipan filled speculaas treats will be available warm of cold at In Den Hoorn Des Overvloed’s, the Savannebar in Fabula, De Verkleumde Kompel and De Kombuys for € 2,50 Mikkeman which are sweet spiced bread buns are served at The White Horse and Panorama self-service with butter and sugar for € 1,95 Fresh syrup waffles will be available as usual on the Ton Van De Ven square and Max & Moritz square € 1,80 Den Suykerbuyk will be serving their winter special which is a waffle with warm apple sauce, sultana's, cinnamon sugar, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. € 5,10 The popular glowing cotton candy will be sold again at 't Suykerhuys and Het Seylend Fregat € 3,50 If you would like something smaller you can also get a hot drink with a dish of small treats for € 2,- at The White Horse, Panorama self-service and at Wachtruimte 1e klas in Station de Oost Savory You can get loaded fries with warm mushroom stew, rocket, red onion and truffle mayo at De Smulpaap € 4,50 This years Unox winter special is the Chilli cheese dog which is a bun with an Unox sausage, cheese sauce, paprika tabasco sauce and fried onion. The cheese sauce is vegan so a vegan version of this dish is also available. If you want it to be even more spicy you can ask for chili flakes to be added. € 3,35 The usual pea soup with sausage can be obtained from De Smaeckmaker and the various Unox-chalets € 3,60 |

Instead of the Ice palace, two big bonfires will be put up on the meadow and many food and souvenir stands will be available.
