Spring in the Efteling

In the Spring there are no special events going on in the park however the park's natural beauty is resplendent. 
80,000 colorful tulips, hyacinths and daffodils are planted along with 45,000 scented spring blooming plants working together to create a marvelous display. Each realm has it's own color pallet 

Summer in the Efteling

Come to the Efteling Summer Festival every Saturday this summer and dance until late into the night on nine squares, each with its own charming atmosphere. The park stays open until midnight every Saturday! Enjoy Efteling longer than ever... and experience Aquanura in the dark, with coloured fountains set against a pitch-black sky!

From 1 July until 31 August the park stays open extra late every day: until 20.00 hours. On the nine Saturdays during the Efteling Summer Festival, the park even stays open until midnight!

New Years Eve

Come to the efteling and celebrate New Years in a fairy tale atmosphere from 19:00. Have a cosy evening with the whole family.

There will be live performances on several stages. The fairy tale forest will be lit and open untill midnight, Aquanura can be enjoyed in the dark. The fairy tale figures will help you count down to 24:00 and enjoy the amazing fireworks!

Only on the last day of the year from 19:00 - 01:00
Most attractions will be available until midnight.
Evening tickets do not include access to the park before 19:00
Tip! If you stay at Bosrijk or Efteling Hotel tickets for the whole day including the evening are included in the price of your stay.

Do not bring your own fireworks, Sky lanterns or alcoholic beverages. ​

Autumn in the Efteling

​In the Autumn there are no special events going on in the park however the park's natural beauty is resplendent. 

Winter in the Efteling

During the Winter Efteling the Efteling is transformed into a winter wonderland. There are twinkling lights everywhere, warm campfires, the various attractions are decorated and all the occupants of the Efteling are wrapped up warm for the winter. There are also a few new attractions brought out especially for the Winter. 


The Winter season runs from the 6th of November  to 1st of February
