Winter Efteling 2014-2015Efteling winter season
During the Winter Efteling the Efteling is transformed into a winter wonderland. There are twinkling lights everywhere, warm campfires, the various attractions are decorated and all the occupants of the Efteling are wrapped up warm for the winter. There are also a few new attractions and foods brought out especially for the Winter. On the Dwarrelplein you can find peasoup, hot chocolate and ghluwein and chicken on a stick. Infront of Carnaval Festival they will be serving Crepes. In Rough Realm they will be offering BBQ Baked Potatoes. At the St Nicolas Square you will find 6 different kinds of hot chocolate and Baked Apple with Mascarpone. The Winter season runs from the 6th of November 2014 to 1st of February 2015 Opening hours are 06/11/2014 - 19/12/2014 and 05/01/2015 - 01/02/2015 Mon - Fri 11:00 - 18:00 Sat - Sun 11:00 - 19:00 20/12/2014 - 30/12/2014 and 01/01/2014 - 04/01/2015 Mon-Sun 11:00 - 20:00 31/12/2015 11:00 - 18:00 19:00 - 01:00 Ice Skating In the Ice palace tent there is an ice rink where you can rent skates for € 4,50 an hour (€10,00 deposit) or just bring your own ice skates! You can also find hot drinks, Gluhwein, Schrobbeler, Hot Chocolate, Cookies, Unox sausage sandwiches and soup. There is also a snow slide made of real snow. Langlaufing During the Winter Efteling, Pedaltrack The Blue Stork is transformed into a langlaufing track called "'t Heigend Hert" ("The Panting Deer") Christmas market The market has all sorts of nice tasty warming wintery foods and drinks like fresh syrup waffles, Churros, Smoked Sausage, and delicious hot drinks Winter Illusions After Sunset a spectacle can be seen in front of The Flying Dutchman, The Haunted Castle and Villa Volta. |

*During the Winter Efteling almost all attractions are open. George and the Dragon, Python, Half Moon, Bob and The Old Puffer are closed at freezing temperatures. The Flying Dutchmen and the Pirana are closed during Winter Efteling
