​De Pluktuyn

​De Pluktuyn or picking garden is an edible garden located next to the Loonsche Land reception building and restaurant.

Ingredients are grown here that are used in dishes served at the Proeftuyn restaurant. The hop grown here is used in the production Loonsche Land's own 'Het Verdiende Loon' beer.

The garden is divided into several different sections
Boomgaard (Orchard)
De Notengaerd (Nut orchard)
Moestuyn (Vegetable Garden)
Bessentuyn (Berry garden)
Hoptuyn (Hop garden)

There are fruit trees, nut trees, bean stalks, grape vines and vegetable beds, herbs and flowers.

You can book a tour of the Pluktuyn edible garden at Reception. (Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays in August, September & October 17:00 - 18:00)
