Lurk en Limoenhuys (Lurk and Lime House)
|
When the Lavenlaar opened in 1990, the Lurk & Limoenhuys was a nice little pub. Unfortunately the Laaf closed the pub in 2003, with the windows boarded up and a construction sign placed on the closed door. Up until 2024, you could hear construction noises coming from within.
Since the arrival of Luur (the new laaf) in the summer of 2024 however, The Lurk and Limoenhuys has been reconfigured into a workshop for him where you can find him hard at work making the popular Laaf drink Limoen. The non-alcholic beverage is described by Lavi as a golden, fruity beverage. The Laaf people won't divulge the recipe as they believe knowing offends the taste but we gather limes play a large part. |

- Excerpt from Lavenloop -
'The Lurk & Limoen house was our village inn. Humans were also welcome to take part in our spirits and take home a free glass as a memento. Unfortunately the house has suffered some structural issues and is under construction at the moment. If you listen at the door you will hear Laaf labourers hard at work trying to restore the building to its former glory. '
