De Trollenkoning (The Troll King)

The Troll king came to the Fairytale Forest in 1988.

When you turn the sundial a bell rings and the troll king will emerge. He will spreak some gibberish (he is very old afterall) and make the ground shake for who ever turned the dial.

Story

Once upon a time there was a terrible tyrant of a king.
His name was Kobald and he was king of the trolls.
He was so ugly and vicious that even the trolls did not like him.
Elsewhere in the woods there was a good troll who could predict the future.
Humans and trolls would often come to him for advice and council.
Then one day a beautiful girl came to the good troll’s house.
“Hello, my name’s Princess Adelheid” she said.
“I am in love with Prince Wikke and I would very much like to marry him, but my father doesn’t think he’s brave enough. What should I do?” asked the princess.
“Go home my dear and everything will be just fine” replied the good troll.
Not long afterwards, there was another knock at the good troll’s door.
“Kobald has captured Princess Adelheid!” a troll exclaimed.
“What should we do?” “Go and fetch Prince Wikke” the good troll told the troll at the door, “and send him to Kobald’s swamp.”
The troll left to fetch Prince Wikke and the good troll whistled a tune.
Straight away an owl swooped down to the good troll and he whispered something in its ear.
Meanwhile Prince Wikke made his way to the swamp.
Would Prince Wikke be brave enough to save the princess?
