Picnic Spots
Here are some of the picnic spots you can find in the Efteling.
Please do respect your environment and do not leave any trash lying around. Especially sugary trash as it will attract wasps.

Indoor
The seats inside the Diorama are hidden away in the darkness but can be quite useful.

Herberg De Ersteling has two little tables and benches inside you could commandeer on a quiet day. Lovely to eat your lunch surrounded by the smell of cinnamon.

Den Olijcke Tweeling next to Smulpaap has lot's of seats but can be quite popular.

Outdoor
The picnic tables over behind the group lockers are tucked away behind the first aid post so not many people know about them. It's visible from the train so you can sit and watch the trains go by.

Stonehenge Stone seats in a quiet out of the way spot with a view of the waterside

The Efteling Museum garden has a few tables and chairs which you can nab if you are lucky.

The benches in the Indian Waterlily queue are often a lovely quiet spot to enjoy a sandwich while listening to the fountain babble.

The Lurk & Limoen seats in the Laaf Village.

This quiet little forgotten corner in between the Laaf Village and the Anton Pieck Square has several benches. Two of which are sheltered and very hidden away.

If you can eat your lunch within 20 minutes, the Gondoletta boats are also a good but popular option.
DO NOT FEED THE GULLS. They will descend upon your boat in droves! |
The picnic field in Reizenrijk if you want to go rustic and spread a blanket on the grass. It may be closed off at certain times of year for reseeding.

The quiet little area around Edna the dragon by the George & The Dragon ride is a lovely spot too. If you're not too scared of course.
