Story
On Sinbad's second journey he was left behind on a little island.
Upon searching the island he found an enormous white globe. While he was trying to figure out what it was the sky darkened and he hid. A giant bird appeared and landed on top of the egg. Sinbad unwrapped his turban and managed to tie himself to one of the creatures legs unnoticed. Hoping that the creature would travel close to his companions so he might rejoin them. After some time the bird alighted, Sinbad squeezed his eyes tight shut. The bird Roc swooped and soared until finally descending and landing. Sinbad released himself from it's leg immediately. The bird pounced! but not onto Sinbad, it still hadn't noticed it's presence. But on a giant serpent. Taking it away in it's claws it left Sinbad in a barren wasteland. Sinbad despaired at his current plight and regretted the terrible flight. |
