Sneeuwwitje (Snow White)

Snow White fell asleep in a cave in Fairytale Forest in 1952 and the seven dwarfs have been fussing over her for ever since. Then, in 1999, a castle was built next to the cave with the wicked stepmother’s magic mirror hanging on the wall.

Story

Once upon a time there was a loving queen who longed for a daughter. Then one day, her wish came true and she bore a beautiful baby as white as snow who soon became known as Snow White.
A few years later, the queen died and the king remarried. He chose to marry a beautiful but vain queen. Everyday she would stand in front of the mirror and ask it: “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?” “Why you, your majesty,” the magic mirror would answer. “You are the fairest of them all“. But Snow White soon grew up into a beautiful young woman and one day, the mirror replied: “Your majesty, you are beautiful it’s true; but of all the land, Snow White is more beautiful than you.”
The queen was furious and called for a hunter to take Snow White deep into the forest. “Take her deep into the forest and make sure she never returns,” said the queen. The hunter was unhappy about what he was about to do, but obeyed the queen nonetheless.
Deep in the forest Snow White found a house: the house of the seven dwarfs. She told the dwarfs about what had happened and they let her stay for as long as she liked. Then one day, the queen found out that Snow White was still alive. “What!” she shouted at the mirror in disbelief. She disguised herself as a peddler woman and took a poisoned apple to Snow White. She found the house of the seven dwarfs and convinced Snow White to take a bite of her apple. As she did, Snow White fell to the floor and the queen escaped back to the castle. What on earth would the seven dwarfs do without Snow White?

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess with a special name: Snow White. Her mother named her this way when she was born because her skin was as white as snow and her hair was a black as ebony.

Shortly after the queen died.

One day the king remarried to a pretty woman who no one had heard of before.

No one knew that this pretty but false queen was actually an ugly witch who was very jealous of the beauty of Snow White. The people had to adore her. She had to be the most beautiful and important person in all the land. Not Snow White! And that’s why she made more and more new magic potions. To look even more beautiful. And so it happened that every day she stood in front of her magic mirror and asked “Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? “ And the mirror would answer “

Your majesty, beauty like yours knows no equal. Noble lady you are the fairest of them all.”
But Snow White grew up and become more and more beautiful every day. One day the mirror answered:

“ Oh Queen, very beautiful are you.

But Princess Snow White is a thousand times more beautiful than you now.”

Raging with envy and jealousy the false queen thought of a terrible plan to deal with Snow White. She called the hunter to her and said: “ Take Snow White hunting in the woods. Make sure some accident befalls Snow White where she will die. Come back here immediately after to tell the kind and me of the sad news. “

When the hunter came back to the castle he told them that Snow White was devoured by a wild beast. The king was inconsolable. The queen said we wanted to retire with her grief. Really she went straight to the magic mirror because it always told her the truth.

“Mirror mirror on the wall who is now the fairest of them all?”

“Oh you are very beautiful my queen, yet princess Snow White is a thousand times more beautiful than you.”

“This cannot be. This cannot be true you must be wrong! Oooohhh Snow White is dead! She's dead! It cannot be true! Revenge revenge revenge!”

Snow White now lives on yonder hills with the seven dwarfs for whom she cares and she remains the most charming and the most beautiful person in the country.
