Efteling Grand Hotel Rooms
One of the reason many people choose to book the Efteling Grand Hotel is for the view.
The below may help you manage your expectations for what view you may expect for your chosen or given room number. The Efteling currently offers the ability to choose your room number for some room types not all. (see above) This comes at an extra cost. Here you can find a list of which room numbers likely correspond to which room types, room colours and what their view is likely to be. Please note that this is no more than an educated guess. As I understand it only the Tower Suites/Rooms on the right hand side of the building likely have a good view of the Aquanura watershow (241,242, 330, 331, 431, 432) However there is a window on almost every floor that offers a view of Aquanura and a seat should you dine or drink in Mystique you should have an amazing view there as well. (see video's above). The Tower Suites/Rooms on the left hand side (102, 104, 202, 204, 302, 304, 402) would mainly have a view of the House Of The Five Senses (park entrance) but possibly also the car park. (201,301,401, 501) would also have a view of the treetops of the Fairy Tale Forest. The rooms at the front of the building (even numbers) will mainly view the House Of The Five Senses (park entrance) and the Efteling Theatre. Yellow rooms (marked on the floorplans below with a yellow diamond pattern) tend to be closer to the House Of The Five Senses (park entrance) while Blue rooms (marked on the floorplans below with a blue diamond pattern) tend to be closer to the Efteling Theatre. The rooms at the back of the building (odd numbers) will mainly view the Pardoes Promenade (main street into the park) and the treetops of the Fairy Tale Forest. Green rooms (marked on the floorplans below with a green diamond pattern) tend to be closer to the Fairy Tale Forest. Red rooms (marked on the floorplans below with a red diamond pattern) tend to be closer to the Pardoes Promenade (main street into the park). Below you can see photo's from room 515 which is a green room at the back of the building over the Arcade (in the middle). Thank you to the lovely person who allowed us to use these photo's. It seems the rooms above the arcade are almost always 4 Person Premium Deluxe Rooms and 6 Person Premium Deluxe Rooms. So if you want a room above the arcade, these are your best bet. If you don't want a room above the arcade you may want to choose a different room type as these rooms don't appear to occur anywhere else in the building.
I believe that on the 5th floor most of the rooms will have a circular window. All except 515,516,517,518 which are based in the middle of the building and the 501 room at the left side of the building. If you want a room with one of these circular windows your best bet is probably a 5 Person Suite. |
* No option to choose a room number in on line booking process.
But if you have your heart set on a particular room number you can try contacting Efteling customer service to see if they will oblige. |
The below floorplans (!Warning Large File Size!) represent where I believe each room number is located, what the room colour is likely to be and what those room layouts look like.
Please note that again, this is no more than an educated guess.
