The park has many interactive little features that can be missed if you don't know about them.
I've done my best to note them all down here

Within the park: If you arrive at the gates in time for the park opening ceremony (1 hour before the official opening hour) you may be chosen to open the park. You get to open the big lock with a big key and get a certificate. Up on the main promenade there is a key if you wiggle the key 🗝 over by the big treasure chest it will open the chest. Nearby there is a platform that lights up when you stand in the shoes and show your affection. In the Symbolica queue you can try and decypher the Symbolican script. In the Symbolica ride the front seat gets an interactive panel which allows you to affect your experience. At Polles Keuken you can tap your own magic 'glowing' water🥃. |

If you enter the Carousel palace via the Diorama there is a carousel horse🎠 you can sit on and take pictures with.
Similarly in the Efteling museums garden there is an old timey car you can sit in and take pictures with
There’s also a section of the old Python track.
Outside of the Marerijk station there is an old train called Neefje you can climb in and take pictures with.
Wiggling the gate handle in the 🍄 Gnome village brings out one of the gnomes.
Shouting🗣at the sleepy fishing gnome should wake him up.
At Gepetto's house there is a box where if you turn the handle a jack in the box will come out on the other side of the glass.
Also keep a close eye on the stairs as the blue fairy might appear.
If you move the fishing rod up and down or turn the handle the feather will tickle the fish and it will open its mouth to sneeze.
If you stand on the plate in front of the sundial 🌟 at the Troll King and change the dial it will call out the Troll king. When he’s finished gibbering about your future the plate will vibrate.
If you turn the key at Princess and the pea the music and story will start.
If you talk to the parrot while her eye lights up red she will repeat what you say.
If you pull at the crown 👑 from the 🐲 dragons treasure chest it will anger the dragon.
Wiggling the gate handle at Hansel and Gretel will draw the attention of the witch.
If you shout 🗣 at Frau Holle's house she will come out.
If you put a coin in the donkey's mount it will poop a coin .
You can buy bird food at the Kleyne Klaroen and feed the pigeons 🕊.
If you shout 🗣 for Tom Thumb in the tree trunk he will come out.
You can chat with Kniesoor the smaller talking tree. In order for him to have a chance of recognising you you must have 'Personal services and experiences during your visit' ticked under My Data and Permissions in the Efteling app. And it’s best to approach him from the direction of The Little Match Girl.
You can also chat with Sprookjesboom the big talking tree.
In the Laaf village there is a switch 🎚you can pull which will 'electrocute' the Laaf up above with the lightbulb💡.
One of the houses has steps that make funny noises when you step on them.
The house on the pond can move if you work together to make it happen
In the house with the golden statue putting your hand on the hand shaped mount will bring 'flames' 🔥🦶 up to the statues feet and tickle him.
The Anton Pieck square has 3 gacha machines that move when you insert a coin.
There is a 'Gijs' statue of a mother with two children 👶👶. I think they stop crying and burp if you feed them rubbish.
Most of the 'Gijs' bins will make a different noise when you feed them some rubbish.
At the eastern station there is a zootroop 🎪 you can activate with a handle.
The 🐒🐵⛲️monkey fountain outside will shoot water 💦 at you.
Near the Flying Dutchman is another 'Gijs'' if you put rubbish in the cannon it will sound a cannonball💣.
At the Verwende Nest inside the Nest! Playground there is a wheel you can turn to make it seem like you're making a chimney cake
In the Nest! Playground the staff sometimes arrange games. Games like scavenger hunts, building sandcastles, The floor is lava and fun with water.
If your child gets to the end of the Joris & De Draak queue and decides they don't want to ride or turn out to be too short to ride, the staff might try to cheer them up by letting them press a special button to pretend to launch the ride.
If you ride the Python for the first time you may be able to get a special certificate from staff.
If you ride De Oude Tuffer for the first time you may be able to get a special driving licence from staff.
In between the bridges that lead from Rough Realm and Symbolica there is a wishing pond.
If you have coins to spare you can make a wish and try and land one on the little fish’s tray.
All coins will end up in the water anyway but the pond is emptied every year and the coins are given to charity.
There is a telescope 🔭 thing between Rough Realm and travel realm along the lakeside. If you look into it, it will give you the ability to see the invisible dragons that roam the skies above the lake 😉
There is a floor piano 🎹 in the toddler playground. If you change the pages of the sheet music the tone you can play in changes.
In the Carnaval Festival queue there is a TV.
If you look through the hole in the back of the TV you should see a short video.
There is an interactive map game in the Jokie souvenir shop.
Around the Pirana ride there are statues you can activate that will spit water 💦 at the people in the boats (and sometimes at you) if you put your hand in the statues mouths.
In the Max & Moritz queue you can use an app📱🐞 to catch virtual beetles
In the queue there is something called a Boemknaller that activates a water 💦 effect in the ride.
There is also be a whoopie cushion organ in the queue to make 'music' with 🎹
In Backerij Krumel there is a light switch that the boys have sabotaged. If you turn it, the light will flicker and you'll hear them giggle.
In the Dance Macabre queue there is a door that will clatter if you try the door handle.
You can also do a scavenger hunt in the Dance Macabre area. It takes about 15 minutes. Make sure your location is on and then ask Penneveer about the Huyvertocht in the app and it will guide you through it.
In the glass cabinet (cabinet of the missing memorial) if you touch some of the posters music will play.
After your visit you can use the Efteling app and your own pictures to make a clip
Go to the Efteling app and under Account click on 'make your own personal aftermovie'
Choose 15 or so of your own pictures.
Choose a cover photo out of those 15 pictures.
Once done a link to the video will be emailed to you after 10 or 15 minutes. After you've watched it you will be given the option to save it.

At Bosrijk there is play equipment dotted around the grounds but there is also an app game you can play within the grounds.
If you complete the game you may be able to affect Mr Sandman's castle.
At the village houses near the bak of the resort there's a well on the square. If you turn the handle music should come out of the well.
